Hi Guys,

I hope you’re all well today and I wanted to share with you a big change that I am making towards my own personal online business and I am already putting the jigsaw pieces in place to what I believe is going to be an incredible journey over the next year.

Yes you heard me right ‘THE NEXT YEAR” that’s 2009

We all know there is money to be made from the web but how many of us really make any significant money or even money that could let us give up our day jobs???

I bet if you are reading this then you can feel where I am coming from.

Well, to be honest i have had enough of just doing something just for the sake of money, I sat with my wife a couple of nights back and said to her “Darling, I am going to transition away from the business I am in now and move into online publishing” and she said “WHAT!!!, but haven’t you tried this before?” ” I know you’ve made some money but not a lot”

And you know what she is RIGHT!!! I have not made a lot of money online and recently I have found out why…………….. because I was treating it like a hobby and not a business.

So right now I am putting together a budget and a business plan for this new online publising business and I will be sharing my successes, failures, mistakes and triumphs here on the blog and I hope you come along for the ride.

So what are my goals??? Well I have thought about this and here goes in simple format.

“I will be developing and promoting my own NICHE PRODUCTS and then turning subscribers into members of different types of membership and continuity sites” pretty simple Ehhh.

The reason I am choosing this model is that it makes simple sense. Sell Once - Get Paid Multiple Times.

So my aim is to set up 5 of these sites in 2009 and then add more in 2010 and 2011.

I am currently in the research and set up phase for this business and am doing this on  a shoestring budget so it will be interesting to see what I can achieve.

My ultimate goal is that within one year I will have proven both to myself and to some of you guys that this can work for anybody and when I have done that I will produce an online coaching programe to show others how to do it as well.

To be honest I am sick and tired of buying all different types of products about internet marketing for them to not really show how to build a business.

Hi Guys about a week ago I posted a comment on the blog asking the question “What Can I Teach You” and I had some interesting questions.

Hi Guys,

As you know i posted on the site about 5 days ago asking “What Can I Teach You” about online and internet marketing along with web site building and design.

Well one of our readers Tony asked me to do a video tutorial about using GIMP which is a free graphical software.

Now i have managed to make the video and it lasts for around 36 minutes. However I am having some problems in uploading it so need another day to get that up. I have tried You Tube but the file size is too large so will probably put it on my web hosting account and give you a link to it.

I have been working at this “Internet Marketing Game” and “Make Money Online” dream for a while now and quite a lot of my friends and family know this. However I have only had limited success. However I have learnt some good stuff along the way and I would like to share these with you so that you may be able to implement them into your own business.

Now please don’t think that I am some kind of expert.

However, I perhaps believed that I did not really know stuff which would or could HELP people, which in fact when I thought about it is just not true.

So here goes, should I sell you this knowledge???

Well the answer is NO. What I want to share with you or teach you are things you can find freely on Google, and can quite easily learn yourself, but what I want to know is if you would you like me to teach you via this blog about these following simple web and internet marketing skills. And I will do this in video format to make it easier.

Now don’t expect me to be foot perfect but i think i have learned enough over the last year to be able to guide you through the following tasks if you would like some freindly NO COST help

1. Building a website using Wordpress (This site “BLOG” you are looking at runs on Wordpress)

2. Setting up an Autoresponder (This is a piece of software that can send out emails to your prospects at time intervals you select)

3. Designing a graphic header using Photoshop Elements (Photoshop Elements is the cheapo version of Photoshop)

4. How to buy a domain name and set it up so that it displays your webpage.

5. How to set up an account on Clickbank (Clickbank is a service which allows you to sell downloadable products) so you can sell your own product.

6. How to install a free web tracking tool called Stat Counter on your website (If you are interested I can shoot a video of my own Stat Counter account to see how this works.

7. Making a video using Camtasia (Camtasia is a software which allows you to record what is happening on your screen)

8. Showing you how to use a service called Twitter which allows you to interact and keep an online diary of what you do day to day.

9. How to set up an account with SKYPE (Skype is an instant messenger which works on VOIP) For non technical people this means Voice over Internet Protocol. And in even simpler terms. It will allow you to use your computer to speak with someone else who has a computer anywhere in the world, and it does not cost anything.

10. How to use SKYPE to do conference calls (You can have calls between 4 people at a time

11. How to set up a Google Account for email and other uses.

12. How to use a website called Site Solutions to check if your webpage is set up correctly.

13. How to set up a You Tube account and upload your first video

14. How to use an online survey tool for creating surveys and for gathering information

15. And finally you can just ask me a question on the blog here and i’ll try and answer it. If I do not know the answer then i will try to find it for you and give you my take.

Why am I doing this? Well i suppose it’s because i can, i have that knowledge and it will be fun to do some videos teaching others, i enjoy that

Just so you know, my name is Richard Smith and i do not make my living from the internet although that is my plan for the future. I do run my own IT Recruitment company and this is my main business at the moment.

I hope i can help you with some of the above tasks and will try my best to point you in the right direction.

Hi Guys,

I posted the other day about the FREE video offer from Stompernet and of course i presume a lot of you went over to the link and of course BAM!!!!……….Nothing Happened?

Well it seems there was a massive technical failure on there side.

The good news is that the site is now up and running and I have managed to order my copy  with no problems now.

To be honest i think this is an opportunity not to pass up. They are charging $9.95 for shipping and handling to get these to you (I paid about $19 because I am havng them delivered to Poland) but that is still worth it when you consider they actually sell this product for $497.

I have also just found out that next week they are giving away even more gifts for people who subscribe so I cannot wait for that.

If you want to get this DVD course then i would take a look now because as i understand they have shipped nearly 10,000 copies so I am not sure how many they have left.

I do hope you see this post  because today you can get something of immense value for FREE.

Today a newsletter is being launched from Andy Jenkins and Brad Fallon. If you do not know them then just go and search on Google to find out more about them.

But before you do go here and watch this video

Hi Guys,

I have just been watching a brilliant video from Jim Edwards of  “MiniSite Secrets” fame which teaches you a new way of looking at Niche Marketing……….

But that was not the best bit of the video. At the beginning Jim goes into a total rant about the never ending tirade of “GURU” and Non GURU to that matter promotions for current marketing products.

Jim even explains how he recently bought a product (He paid $99 for it) recommended by one of these people, someone he knows and trusts (Did not want to use the word respect) and found out that it was a pile of POOH.

Now you have to listen to this because this is not some phoney hype. You can really tell in the tone of his voice that he is royally “PISSED OFF”

The only thing i did not like is that he did not name the person which i feel he should have done, but hey everybody to their own.

After Jim finishes his rant he then actually goes into teaching mode and the information he gives is 100% solid content you can actually learn from (He calls it the Skyscraper) and he also does not have any sales pitch at the end (That’s refreshing)

I just think this is one of the best and most open videos i have seen in a long time from a marketer of Edwards standing in the online comunity.

So yesterday was the release of Frank Kerns mass Control Giveaway and i really wanted to get my hands on these DVDs and other materials.

Now Frank was releasing this at 12.00 Noon on Friday (That’s Pacific Time) which according to my calculation is 8pm here in Warsaw. So up i went to me computer at 7.45pm and uploaded the wait page ready to get my kit as soon as the page went live.

So 8pm….. nothing 8.05pm…..nothing and even 8.15pm…..still nothing.

So i checked the difference in Timezones and of course it was being launched at 9pm my local time so I thought “Ok i’ll go make myself a coffee, do a little bit more surfing on the web and just wait till 9pm.

So as we got to 8.40pm here in Poland, that’s when it happened……….BOOM!!!

The biggest electrical storm I have ever seen in my life. And then two minutes later no power, everything, lights, refridgerator and of course “COMPUTER AND INTERNET”

Even some parts of Poland experienced Tornados.

So i just sat there not being able to do anything and knowing the deal would probably sell out in minutes.

I got up at 7am and tried the page but as i already knew it was sold out. Just a freak storm has made me miss out on a product i really wanted to get. I am going to try and contact Frank’s office and see if i can get a copy.

But Frank Kern is true to his word and if he says he is only releasing 2000 copies then i am sure that is what it was and they have gone!!!!

I suppose it is one of the reasons i follow Frank Kern because he gives great info and tells it as it is.

Hi Guys,

Sorry about that post title above but i needed to grab your attention because this is so important.

I cannot believe the video I just watched!!! Really it is so eye opening that it has to be worth a fortune in the right hands. It is the most powerful piece of online marketing training I have seen by Frank Kern provide and that really is saying something.

You should watch it now and if you have not seen the other videos he has released then get them now as he is giving them away for free. I am having so much fun watching these and learning a lot of great marketing techniques

Also when you watch the video make sure to listen carefully to the end when he uses the word “W-nk-r”. I could not believe he said it.

He was being so passionate about what he is teaching that I think it slipped out accidentally.
